Sesame Street Safari of Fun - Busch Gardens, Tampa

The Muppets are preparing to move in at Busch Gardens. The Tampa theme park plans to open its Sesame Street Safari of Fun area with a small roller coaster, water elements, playground and photo ops in March.

Walt Disney World Resort comprises The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon (water park), Blizzard Beach (water park) and Downtown Disney. 

The Magic Kingdom covers some 100 acres and was opened in 1971 and is split into 7 'lands' - Frontierland, Fantasyland, Mickey's Toontown Fair, Tomorrowland, Liberty Square, Main Street USA .

1) Take I-4 East to exit 75A
2) Follow the signs to Universal Orlando's main parking garage
Sea World - Shark Encounter

Sea World - The main entrance for Sea World Orlando is on Central Florida Parkway between International Drive and Sea Harbor Drive.

Wet 'n' Wild - Water fun park - 6200 International Drive, Orlando.  A great day out for all the family.

Gatorland - internationally known as the Alligator Capital of the World, Gatorland is a 110-acre theme park and nature conservatory.  14501 S Orange Blossom Trl., Orlando

Cypress Gardens - situated less than 60 minutes from Orlando.  From Orlando: 1-4 WEST to exit 55 (U.S. Hwy 27 SOUTH). Continue South on U.S. Hwy. 27. Turn right off U.S. Highway 27 at State Road 540/Cypress Gardens Boulevard. Park is 4 miles on the left.

Aquatica - SeaWorld's water park. Orlando's newest waterpark with high speed thrills on exhilarating rides and white sand beaches inspired by the the rugged beauty of the South Sea Islands. 

Kennedy Space Centre - worlds apart from Orlando’s theme parks – but just a short drive away. Plan on a full day to explore NASA Kennedy Space Center launch headquarters, located on a huge island wildlife refuge eight times the size of Manhattan.
Located on the SR405.  Annoyingly, none of the websites gives an actual address, not even a town name.  But you will pick up signs for it along the main road.

 Busch Gardens, Tampa - not an Orlando theme park, but well worth the trip if you have time.  Takes about 2 hours by car.  You will pick up signs as you get to the outskirts of Tampa.
