Golf Courses in the Orlando Area

There are so many golf courses in and around Orlando that it would be
impossible to mention them all. So here are our favourites and others that come recommended.
Highlands Reserve
This championship Mike Dasher design gives you pine tree-lined fairways reminiscent of
the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit
of old Orlando with citrus trees along the countryside. Large, fast, undulating greens
make this course challenging and fun for all levels of golfers.
Highlands Reserve Golf Club was nominated by Golf For Women Magazine as one of their
50 top courses for 2002. Rated 3.5 Stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" guide, Golf

Falcon's Fire Golf Course

will be familiar to those who have played the links courses of Scotland and Ireland.
Orange Lake Resort & Country Club
The golf resort consists of 4 courses:
The Legends, The Reserve, Crane's Bend & Legends Walk.
The Legends is an Arnold Palmer designed chamopionship course.
The Reserve was designed by Mike Dasher and is a 9 hole, par 30 course.
Royal St Cloud
The 18-hole "St Cloud 18" course at the Royal St. Cloud Golf Links facility in Saint Cloud, Florida features 7,111
yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.6 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda
grass. Designed by Lewis C. Powell, the St Cloud 18 golf course opened in 2001. Affordable and a lot of
fun.
5310 Michigan Avenue, St Cloud
Kissimmee Oaks
A beautifully natural 18 hole championship golf course set amidst 100 year old oak trees. Dotted with lakes on all but 3 holes and set in 135 acres and
home to eagles, osprey, turtles, beavers and sand cranes. The course features a large practive facility
with 20 range stations and separate putting and chipping greens. There is an air-conditioned,
comfortable clubhouse where you ahve lunch or just a refreshing drink.

Celebration Golf Course
Opened in 1996 and designed by Father & Son team Robert Trent Jones Snr. and Jnr. This is
an upmarket, tranquil and challenging course. Bordered by native oaks, pine and magnolia trees and natural wetlands. Featuring strategic hazards
and challenging greens, this championship calibre course demands accurate approach shots and consistent
putting. Has practice facilities.
