East
Coast (Atlantic Ocean. The sea can be a
little rough on this coast and the sand is more like our sand
in the UK).
DAYTONA BEACH AREA
About 60 miles from Orlando. Take the I-4 East to the I-95
North and exit at US 92 which turns into International Speedway
Boulevard and leads directly to Daytona Beach and A1A
central. A long sandy beach.
DELAND / WEST VOLUSIA
On Hwy. 92, 20 minutes south of Daytona Beach, is Deland, home
to historic Stetson University. Also in West Volusia County are
natural springs, found in Blue Spring State Park, Deleon
Springs State Park and Gemini Springs Park.
NEW SMYRNA BEACH
Less than an hour from Orlando. Take the I-4 east to New Smyrna
signs. A very popular surfing spot with 8 miles of white sand
beaches. Climb Ponce Inlet Lighthouse's 203 steps for a
breathtaking view of the area.
COCOA BEACH AREA
About 40 miles from Orlando, enjoy quiet, clean beaches and
Florida's natural wonders. Shuttle launches are visible from
the beach. Take Hwy. 528 East (Beeline) directly to A1A for
surf and sun.
ST AUGUSTINE
Take the I-4 west to I-95 north and follow signs to St
Augustine. Explore the nations oldest city. Tour trains,
trolleys and horse drawn carriages are the preferred means of
travel in this historic community.

SOUTH COAST
MIAMI BEACH
Approximately 230 miles from Orlando. Take Florida's
Turnpike south all the way to Miami, then follow the signs
to the beaches and the A1A.
FLORIDA KEYS
Take the Florida Turnpike until it turns into US. 1.
Approximately 230 miles to Key Lago and 370 miles to Key
West from Orlando. Known for spectacular fishing,
snorkelling, diving and a variety of other water
sports.
WEST COAST (Gulf of Mexico,
normally the calmer sea's of the two coasts and the sand is
like talcuum powder).
CLEARWATER BEACHES
About 110 miles from Orlando. Take the I - 4 west, then the
275. Turn off on the Courtney Campbell Causeway exit (
airport exit ). S.R. 60 takes you right to the Gulf
Coast.
ST PETE'S BEACHES
About 105 miles from Orlando. Take the I - 4 west to the
275 south across the Howard Franklin Bridge. Stay on the
275 south to the Bayway. ( Exit 9 )
BRADENTON AREA BEACHES
Including Bradenton area, Longboat Key, and Anna Maria
Island. About 119 miles from Orlando. Take the I - 4 west
to the I - 75. Take the first Bradenton exit ( 43 ) and
follow it to the Gulf. Beaches to the left, right or
straight ahead.
SARASOTA BEACHES
About 140 miles from Orlando. Take the I - 4 west to the I
- 75 south. Take exit 39 (Fruitville Road) to get to Lido
Beach. Enjoy Siesta Beach, winner of the 'worlds' whitest
beaches contest, or Lido's beach golden sands.
NAPLES BEACHES
Take the I - 4 west to the I - 75 south to exit 16. Enjoy
powder white sand and abundant sunshine in this relaxing
upscale area.
